Free warranty coverage with every inspection
Six protection programs, included at no extra cost on every full home inspection, provided by Inspector Services Group.
What You Get
Covered after the inspector leaves
A home inspection tells you the condition of the house on the day it was inspected. These programs go further: if something that was working on inspection day later fails, you have somewhere to turn. All six are included free with a full home inspection. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay.
90-Day Structural & Mechanical Warranty
Covers items that were confirmed in good working order at the inspection and then fail afterward: plumbing lines and water heaters, the electrical panel and wiring, kitchen appliances, and heating and cooling equipment. Structural coverage includes foundations, floor joists, wall members, and load-bearing walls.
Up to $500 mechanical and $2,000 structural, with a $0 deductible. Runs 90 days from inspection or 22 days after closing, whichever comes later. Appliances and HVAC must be 10 years old or newer.
SewerGard: water & sewer line protection
The buried lines running from the house out to the municipal connection, well, or septic tank are among the most expensive things on a property to repair, and a standard inspection cannot see inside them. SewerGard covers collapses, breaks, and root intrusion.
Up to $2,000 for the water supply line and $2,000 for the waste line ($300 deductible). A sewer scope with a clear result automatically extends this from 90 days to six months.
MoldSafe: new mold remediation
If no visible mold or moisture problem was reported at the inspection and new visible mold appears afterward, MoldSafe pays to have it removed. Existing conditions, and anything stemming from an issue already noted in the report, are not covered.
Up to $2,000 toward remediation ($300 deductible). Adding a mold test to your inspection automatically increases this limit.
Platinum Roof Protection Plan: 5 years
Covers repair of new roof leaks for five full years after the inspection, including flashing and the areas around skylights where leaks typically start. Applies to all types of residential roofing, and the plan is fully transferable if you sell.
Up to $3,000 in leak repairs over the five-year term ($500 deductible per leak). Defects already noted in your inspection report are excluded.
RecallChek: appliance recall monitoring
A recalled appliance is sitting in roughly one in nine homes. Model and serial numbers for the built-in appliances, furnace, air conditioner, and water heater get checked against a recall database, and you receive a separate report. When a manufacturer recalls something, they must repair or replace it free of charge.
Monitoring continues for as long as you own the home, and you are emailed if anything in the house is recalled later.
Full Concierge: move-in help
After the inspection, the concierge team reaches out with your local utility contacts and helps get everything switched on: power, water and sewer, gas, trash, internet, cable, and phone. They also pass along negotiated rates on alarm systems, insurance, and movers.
Included with your inspection. Use as much or as little of it as you like.
Making A Claim
One place to file, 72-hour turnaround
Claims for all of these programs go through the same place: SubmitYourClaim.net. Create an account, choose “New Claim,” and upload your inspection report along with an itemized repair estimate from a licensed contractor.
Claims are processed within 72 hours of everything being submitted. If you get stuck, call Boaz. He can point you in the right direction, even though the claim itself is handled by the warranty provider.
- File at SubmitYourClaim.net. Claims team: 833-521-7901
- Have your inspection report and a licensed contractor’s itemized estimate ready
- For appliances or HVAC, include the make, model, and serial number
- Already have a one-year home warranty from closing? File there first. Where both cover an item, this program covers your deductible
